GOES-R

This training module provides an overview of the benefits of the proposed GOES-R satellite.

The instructional designer on the team wanted an exploratory interface that allows quick access to short video clips. After a couple rounds of white board prototyping, we arrived at a design where environmental hazards are placed on a grid so that a user may click them to open video segments demonstrating GOES-R's capabilities in that arena.

With ample illustration work and a unique interface, this training module is a perfect example of the creativity that may arise out of searching for an appropriate solution to a challenge, as opposed to shoehorning the challenge into a template.
