Arctic Ecosystems

Please note: this was work I performed while employed with UCAR.

The primary goal of this training module is to demonstrate the role the Arctic plays in regulating the Earth's climate and how food webs are affected by the changing climate. By encouraging interaction with a model that simulates how phytoplankton and zooplankton interact, students can begin to understand how small changes in the environment affect the climate.

This module is unique in that it houses a real scientific model that students have access to at all times.
